H.E Hamdi Al-Tabaa’a, Chairman of the Jordanian Businessmen Association and Chairman of the Jordanian-Turkish Business Council, meets the Turkish Ambassador in Amman Mr. Murad Karaguz on 20/02/2017. Both parties discussed the depth of economic relations between the Jordanian Businessmen Association and their counterparts in Turkey represented by the Turkish Council for Foreign Relations (DIEK). H.E al tabaa’a mentioned that the joint business council, which was established about twenty years ago, facilitated mutual and joint investments between businessmen in both countries. Also, he mentioned the continuity of meetings of the Council and arrangements are under way to be held in Istanbul before the middle of this year.

The Turkish Ambassador valued the role of the Jordanian Businessmen Association in strengthening the Jordanian-Turkish economic relations, reaching advanced levels of cooperation and coordination in a manner that serves the interests of the two countries economically, stressing that Jordan and Turkey share the same geography and facing the same challenges. In order to overcome these challenges, a continues cooperation between business men in both countries needed. He added that the Turkish Embassy in Amman is keen to provide all forms of support for the success of the Joint Jordanian-Turkish Business Council meetings.
