Al-Tabba’a confirms the depth of Jordanian-UAE relations

The President of the Jordanian Businessmen Association Hamdi Al-Tabba’a affirmed the depth of the relations between the Kingdom and the United Arab Emirates and constitutes a model for cooperation in various fields, especially trade and investment.
Al-Tabba’a said during the honoring ceremony for the UAE ambassador Bilal Al-Budour, that the private sector highly appreciates the support from the United Arab Emirates to Jordan, both through grants and financial and technical assistance or large existing investments, which contributed to economic development and providing job opportunities.
Al tabba’a also appreciated the great efforts made by Ambassador Al-Badour during his tenure, particularly on the level of economic relations between Jordanian businessmen and their UAE counterparts, and the opening of channels of communication between the two sides through continuous follow-up of the activities of the Jordanian-UAE Business Council.
Al-Badour stressed the cultural values linking Jordan and the UAE, praising the Kingdom's approach of moderation and openness, and the security and stability enjoyed by the Kingdom, wishing the leadership and people of Jordan to move forward towards further development, stability and prosperity, he also praised the role played by the Jordanian Businessmen Association in activating economic and trade relations and enhancing mutual investments between the two countries.
Mentioning that the UAE investments in the Kingdom amounted to about 15 billion dollars distributed in various economic sectors, including real estate, industry and the Amman Stock Exchange, in addition to branches of UAE banks, projects in agriculture, industry and tourism, Marsa Zayed and the operation of marine services to the port of Aqaba and others
