Director General of Jordanian Businessmen Association Tariq Hijazi discussed with the economic Adviser of Russian Embassy to Jordan Sergei Izev and Agricultural Attaché Dari Lina mechanisms for strengthening the two countries' economic relations and their future prospects, as well as the role of the business community in this regard.

Hijazi stressed the importance of identifying economic sectors of common interest, creating new investment opportunities in various fields, as well as introducing business communities on both sides to the most important proposed projects.

He pointed that Jordan has an open economy with the rest of the world, with many free, bilateral and preferential trade agreements which the Russian side can take advantage from it.
