JBA and Indian embassy discuss investment opportunities in Rajasthan

The Indian Embassy in Amman held a workshop on the Indian state of Rajasthan and related trade and investment opportunities at the Jordanian Businessmen Association premises on 4/10/2017, in the presence of board members, association members, Indian businessmen and staff of the Indian Embassy in Amman.
During his speech, H.E hamdi al tabba’a the president of the Jordanian businessmen association pointed out for the excellent historic political relations as well as long lasting and developing economic relations between both countries, since signing first bilateral cooperation and relations agreement in 1947, which was formally adopted in 1950. Al tabba’a also pointed out to the successes achieved by both countries, which are consistent with the visions of their leaders, call for further development and support at all levels, particularly at the economic and investment level.
His Excellency mentioned that Rajasthan present a comprehensive scenario of opportunities for investment and its initiatives to boost growth in the desert state, by attracting business and investment from across the globe, he also stressed that the time has come for the state of Rajasthan to present what it is capable of and with confidence invite people to come to the state, where it was one of the leading economies in the country.

Indian Ambassador Ms. Shubhdarshini Tripathi, praised the depth and strength of the Jordanian-Indian relations, which are distinguished in various fields. She stressed the strategic importance of Rajasthan and the factors that drive investors and businessmen to invest in it; ease of doing business, industrial energy, qualified human efficiency, policies and legislation governing investment, single investment window and the industrial corridor connecting New Delhi and Mumbai.

In the same context, a staff from the Indian Embassy reviewed a promotional video on the investment opportunities and competitive advantages of Rajasthan and vital sectors of investment such as infrastructure, automotive and auto parts, ICT, renewable energy, tourism, health care, metals and ceramics, Textiles, SME’s, electronic devices and military defense systems.
